MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge....

There is a new sketch challenge over at the MFT Challenge Blog today.  I love this one because it works perfectly for a clean and simple card!

MFT Sketch  385

To create this card, I lined the card base with 2 stitched rectangles, one in white card stock and one in a striped pattern paper from the Sweet Celebration pack.  Next, I added a strip of Blu Raspberry along the side layered with a piece of vellum.  I popped that strip up on foam tape for some dimension.  Next, I die Happy Day from the Happy Birthday die and popped that up on fun foam.

Here is this week's sketch....

I used the Gift Box Cover Up for a fun white background.  Next, I added in each glass in a different color with a little detail behind it.

MFT and Friends

I decided to add the sentiment into the inside...

thinking of you {pink and main}...

Today I am stopping in with an amazing new stamp set from Pink and Main called Thinking of You Always. (All products used in this post are linked below)  It is absolutely gorgeous!  Here is the first card I made when this set came in the mail.  Seriously....ripped open the package and made this card within the hour of the mail man coming.  LOL!

To create this card, I put the stamp in my Misti and stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I grab some Copics and did some coloring.  I am not great at coloring so the smaller the image, the better for me and these gorgeous blooms were so easy to color!

After I had the coloring done, I put the panel back in my Misti and stamped it again with Versamark ink.  I heat embossed the image with Judikins Iridescent Sparkle Embossing Powder.  LOVE  that stuff!!  Can you see the texture and sparkle in the above photo?  So fun!

Last, I stamped the thinking of you sentiment in the center.  I wanted a little color to show through so I trimmed the front panel down just a tad and added it to a Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue card stock base.

Pretty Pink Posh May Blog Hop...

I am hopping along with the girls at Pretty Pink Posh today for the May Product Release Hop.  As usual, Paulina has so many adorable new stamps and dies available this month.  I have a couple cards using some of the new products!

Pretty Pink Posh May Blog Hop

This first card showcases the new Hugs Shaker Die and the new Sparkling Clear Jewels.  I created a shaker box with fun foam and added in the jewels on top of a rainbow patterned paper background.  I added in some strips of black and sparkles paper to add a little detail to the card base.

These new jewels are so gorgeous!

For this net card, I took 3 different sized butterflies from the Butterfly Friends Stamp set....

...and create a black and white background.  I added color onto the card by doing some ink blending on a piece of cardstock and then cutting out the hugs die.  I first layered the scalloped piece onto the card base, and then popped the hugs portion of the die cut up on foam tape.

smile {Queen and Company}...

Hey there!  Did you know that Queen and Company has LOTS of adorable embellishments?  The varieties are endless over there in the Queen Store.  So many beautiful things to add to your cards or layouts.  Today, I am using a couple new items from Queen.

This first cards is showcasing the new Layered Flowers....

Queen and Company

To create this card, I used a cover up die and then placed a flower on each square.  These are actually layered flowers that come with a larger flower layered with this smaller one, but I decided to take the flowers apart so they would fit on the block.  Now, I have a second set of larger flowers to use another time.  I added in a sentiment to the center of the card to finish it off.  I love that these flowers already have a little bling already attached!

Queen and Company

Another new item over at Queen are the Letter Stickers.

Queen and Company

I found this quote on Pinterest and knew instantly that I could recreate it with these adorable alphabet stickers.  I added in some of the white Rubber Bubbles to add a little detail to the card front.  I think that this would be a fun little sign to sit out in your craft room!

Queen and Company

Don't forget to head over to the Queen store and check out all their embellishments.  So many to choose from!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!
